Part of an NBC rotating anthology series, this crime drama stars Peter Falk as eternally rumpled gumshoe Lt. Columbo. By lulling murder suspects into thinking he couldn't catch a fly let alone a killer, the seemingly absentminded, deferential detective subtly maneuvers his quarry into making a critical mistake. Guest stars in the eight-episode third season include Martin Sheen, Johnny Cash, Vincent Price, Deidre Hall and Jackie Cooper.
