Two young Chinese mainlanders transplanted to Hong Kong -- naive Xiao-Jun Li (Leon Lai) and street-smart Qiao Li (Maggie Cheung) -- become fast friends and then try not to fall in love despite their deepening feelings for each other. Though the duo spends all their free time together, will the arrival of Xiao-Jun's girlfriend tear them apart forever? Irene Tsu also stars in this bittersweet drama directed by Peter Chan.
