At the height of the 1970s swords-and-sorcery film craze, "Maestro of Gore" Lucio Fulci attacked the genre as no filmmaker had done before with this surreal (uncensored and uncut) epic of brain-bashing barbarians and breast-baring maidens. Jorge Rivero, Andrea Occhipinti and the luscious Sabrina Sellers star in this violent and gory melodrama which features eye-popping cinematography and a pounding score by Claudio Simonetti.
