New York City cab driver Jerry Fletcher (Mel Gibson), who moonlights as a conspiracy theorist, puts his own life in danger when crooked government officials set out to silence him. An attorney named Alice Sutton (Julia Roberts) might be able to help him. But first she'll have to unravel a mysterious murder that could be connected to Fletcher's theory. Patrick Stewart co-stars in this thriller from crowd-pleasing director Richard Donner.
