Set against the backdrop of the 1960s and 70s comedy film series Carry On, this biopic charts the secret romance between bubbly Barbara Windsor (Samantha Spiro) and her co-star Sid James (Geoffrey Hutchings), showing the strains their affair caused in the productions of their movies. Based on Windsor's memoirs, this warm and charming look into the lives of British celebrities features the real Barbara Windsor making a brief appearance as herself.
