The sophomore year of this hit sitcom continues to follow the small-town lives of Dog River's eccentric residents. In the season opener, reports of gunfire send Karen (Tara Spencer-Nairn) off to investigate. Later, Brent (Brent Butt) is stunned to learn that his parents (Eric Peterson and Janet Wright) never married, and he creates problems for himself by purchasing a big-screen television and by installing a security camera at work.
