Writer-director Silvio Caiozzi's award-winning film is an evocative exploration of obsession and unrequited desire. The aging Don Andrés (Julio Jung) lives in his enormous estate, which is fraying at the seams. His grandmother is dying, so he finally recruits a teenager (Adela Secall) to help care for her. Soon, however, the young woman becomes the subject of his growing fascination, one that threatens to devour him -- and destroy her.
