Corruption

City Hall
After attorney Tim Butler (Preston Foster) wins the mayoral race, he goes to work ridding the city of corruption -- which doesn't sit well with some folks at city hall in this vintage drama. Butler is soon ousted in the wake of scandal and wrongly blamed for the killing of a powerful political boss. When more politicos turn up dead, it falls to Butler's secretary (Evalyn Knapp) and a reporter (Charles Delaney) to uncover the assassin's identity.
