Drifter Billie (Edie Falco) is always looking to turn a fast buck. When she schemes a car accident that doesn't pay out, she decides to stay in a small Long Island town on the water's edge. At her hotel, she meets Ben (James Villemaire), who seems like an easy mark but ends up taking all her money instead. While pursuing Ben, Billie meets Ted (Andrew Lowery), who makes her rethink her situation.
