Long before they face the barrier of the United States-Mexico border, citizens of Central and South America hoping to reach America must first pass safely through Mexico, often in the hands of a "coyote" -- a smuggler of human beings. This documentary from director Chema Rodríguez follows three émigrés as they elude authorities and impersonate Mexican citizens on their harrowing journey north toward America.
