In this lighthearted story, three close friends (Andie MacDowell, Imelda Staunton and Anna Chancellor) in a small English village meet every week to drink gin and swap stories about their love lives -- or lack thereof -- as illustrated through an amusing set of flashbacks. Things turn sour with the trio, however, when Kate (MacDowell) becomes involved with a younger man ... and falls in love. So the other two do what they can to interfere.
