Cry of the Penguins

John Hurt stars as a philandering biologist who journeys to Antarctica in order to win over a beautiful young student (Hayley Mills). But the wonder of Antarctica and the struggles of its penguin inhabitants cause him to reevaluate his own life. Directed by Alfred Viola and acclaimed nature-documentary filmmaker Arne Sucksdorff, this compelling story is also a gorgeously filmed and informative look at life in one of earth's most remote locations.
