This two-part series is an anthology of World War II film archives, including such documentaries as Frank Capra's "Prelude to a War," along with the features "The True Glory," "D-Day: Invasion of Normandy" and "The Battle of France." Also included are battlefield footage, newsreel film, an Air Corps recruitment ad and a 101st Airborne Division training film, along with clips of stars of the era such as Humphrey Bogart, Bing Crosby and Bob Hope.
