Chanda (Jayashree) and Suraj (Karan Deewan) want to marry, but when Suraj's greedy mother demands more dowry than Chanda's parents can afford, Suraj is forced to make a more lucrative alliance. As the lovers' lives spiral out of control, Chandra's father struggles to raise her dowry before it's too late in this touching film from V. Shantaram. Music director Purushottam's soundtrack includes "Ab Zindagi Ka Bojh Utaya Na Jaayega."
