Fate brings two star-crossed lovers together after a devastating separation in Ravi Chopra's poignant romance. Torn away from her sweetheart, Shekhar (Jackie Shroff), because of a misunderstanding, Mrig Naini (Meenakshi Sheshadri) marries another man (Raj Babbar) and dedicates herself to her husband. But Naini's world comes crashing in on her when Shekhar reappears in her life, and she must choose between true love and the sanctity of marriage.
