Kaleidoscopic dance routines choreographed by Busby Berkeley -- who knew how to put a chorus line through its paces -- propel this vintage musical about Broadway productions and their financial backers. Dick Powell heads a stellar cast featuring Joan Blondell, Ruby Keeler, Zasu Pitts and Guy Kibbee, while tunes from the American songbook include "I Only Have Eyes for You" and the classic title number.
