Michael Radford directs this drama that examines the personal lives of five exotic dancers who work at a San Fernando Valley strip club, ranging from an aspiring poet (Sandra Oh) to a star dancer who learns she's pregnant (Jennifer Tilly). The film evolved out of an improvisational workshop with stars Oh, Tilly, Daryl Hannah, Sheila Kelley and Charlotte Ayanna. Robert Wisdom co-stars as the club's manager.
