Battered wife Beth Williamson (Donna Mills) finds the courage to leave her abusive husband, only to encounter more tragedy. After years of mistreatment, Beth finally presses charges against husband Tim (Corbin Bernsen), but she can't escape his violent nature. Beth eventually moves in with another abused woman, only to witness a horrible crime. Called to testify, Beth fears that Tim will track her down and kill her. Robin Givens co-stars.
