Set in Kentucky and Virginia in the years before the American Revolution, this classic frontier drama features Fess Parker as famed pioneer Daniel Boone, a man who became one of the country's first folk heroes. In the show's second season, Boone sprains an ankle and can't compete in the town's annual footrace; Boonesborough is evacuated by a British officer (Edward Mulhare); and former Vice President Aaron Burr (Leif Erickson) pays a visit.
