Cecilley Carroll plays Vanessa Fullerton, a woman who attempts to cope with the long-ago murder of her mother, Serena (Eva LaRue Callahan), by telling her story. An Italian royal, Serena gives everything up for love, which arrives in the form of an American soldier. Brad Fullerton (Jeffrey Nordling) whisks the beauty back to his country, but when he dies unexpectedly, Serena becomes vulnerable to the machinations of a stranger.
