Three loosely woven tales of deceit and human frailty all take place on the same day in Björn Runge's drama. The first story centers on Agnes (Pernilla August) and her unfaithful husband, Rickard (Jakob Eklund), who discovers he's fathered a child with another woman. The second tale follows Anita, who boldly visits her ex-husband after not seeing him for three years. In the final story, a bricklayer accepts an illegal job from an elderly couple.
