Newspaper editor Alec Dodge (Patrick Bergin) isn't afraid to expose city hall corruption on the front pages of his paper. When Dodge's story pinpoints the newspaper's owner as the kingpin, however, he soon finds himself fired. Worse, a woman (Annie Dufresne) who picks up Dodge in a bar ends up framing him for the newspaper publisher's murder. Now, Dodge must escape jail and clear his name while avoiding the real killer.
