When an observatory in the Sierra Nevada Mountains recieves a confirmed extraterrestrial signal, computer expert Jack Jones finds himself at the core of a team of journalists trying to relay the signal to the entire world. As events begin to unfold, the signal unleashes its ominous powers and Jack and the others are suddenly thrown into a sinister world of envy, lust, greed, anger, murder, and betrayal.
