Director Stephen Sommers's early monster movie adds terror to the high seas as John Finnegan (Treat Williams), Simon Canton (Anthony Heald) and their crew attempt to hijack a luxury liner -- but who will likely become lunch instead. After surviving the ship's initial collision, onboard jewel thief Trillian St. James (Famke Janssen) must join the hijackers in a fight to escape from a greater deep-sea danger in this ocean-bound, sci-fi actioner.
