Sapna (Urmila Matondkar) loves her supercop fiancé, Vishal (Ajay Devgan), but wishes he'd spend more time with her. When Vishal gets shot and ends up in a coma, to maintain stability, the police commissioner enlists petty crook -- and Vishal look-alike -- Arun (also Devgan) to pose as the detective. Arun promptly falls for Sapna, and she likes the romantic change in her "fiancé," but then Vishal regains consciousness.
