Controlling brother Vallatharai (Vijayakumar) exploits his psychic sister, Hamsaveni (Revathi), and sets out to thwart her wedding when she falls in love with a social activist (Karthik). Revered by the town for her ability to predict the future, Hamsaveni falls for Thambudarai, a big-hearted yet troubled man. Hamsaveni knows she can help Thambudarai conquer his demons and makes plans to marry her love, but her brother tries to stop the wedding.
