In this made-for-TV biopic that pulls no punches, Treat Williams plays legendary prizefighter Jack Dempsey, who faced his bouts with characteristic intensity and drive -- but whose personal life was awash in scandal and controversy. After being defeated at the hands of Gene Tunney (Jimmy Nickerson), Dempsey enters the ring one final time to take back his heavyweight title. Sam Waterston plays Dempsey's manager, Doc Kearns.
