Veer's brother Samir (Pran) went to work in the U.K. years ago, hoping to settle there and send for his family. When Samir's letters mysteriously stop coming, Veer (Dev Anand) heads to Europe to track down his brother. What he finds is a world of corruption and exploitation, where immigrants are forced to work in unbearable conditions for little to no wages and live with the constant fear of imprisonment, deportation ... or worse.
