The world's top hit man, Banks (Kiefer Sutherland), trusts no one and lives an isolated existence by choice and necessity. When he gets his next assassination assignment, he reluctantly hooks up with a sexy hitchhiker, Bennie (Melora Walters). But Bennie's not who she appears to be, and knows far more about Banks's life than he can possibly imagine. Before he knows it, Banks loses control of his life in a web of deceit and double crosses.
