John Wayne takes no prisoners in this pair of Westerns, facing down murderers, charlatans and corrupt public officials. In Desert Trail, when Wayne is falsely accused of killing a rodeo paymaster, he and his partner track down the real killer and mete out justice -- frontier style. In Frontier Horizon, Wayne (along with Ray "Crash" Corrigan and Jennifer Jones in her screen debut) battle bureaucrats who want to force ranchers off their land.
