It's West Side Story minus the earnest balladeering when a war breaks out on the streets of Brooklyn, circa 1958, in which brothers Leon (Stephen Dorff) and Bobby (Brad Renfro) lead the anti-drug Deuces, a gang that's poised to face off with the shady Vipers. Things get complicated when Leon falls for his new neighbor Annie (Fairuza Balk), whose brother is a heroin dealer in the opposing gang. Matt Dillon and Balthazar Getty also star.
