Devoured: The Legend of Alfred Packer

The cannibalistic Alfred Packer serves as fodder (pun intended!) for this hedonistic and sometimes ghoulish caper that imagines what life was like for him and his victims. Set in the late 1800s, the film follows Packer and a group of prospectors who set out to mine gold in the Colorado mountains. But they get trapped by winter weather, and with the food supply dwindling and starvation setting in, Packer makes a decision to save his own skin.
