Fate brings two parents back to the child they gave up in Yash Chopra's debut film. After abandoning their illegitimate baby, Roshan, Mahesh and Meena go their separate ways, and both eventually marry other people. A kindly old man raises the child as his own, but everything changes one day when fate intervenes, and Roshan, Mahesh and Meena cross paths. Rajendra Kumar, Mala Sinha, Nanda and Ashok Kumar star in this powerful and affecting drama.
