Twelve millennia in the future, giant robots and space monsters threaten to extinguish humanity. Meanwhile, young runaway Nono aspires to become a top pilot in the elite squadron known as the Topless. Along the way, she meets and idolizes the superior flyer Lal'C. Together, they slowly realize they are the last hope for the human race in this electrifying consolidation of the six-episode anime, a sequel to the 1988 hit, Gunbuster: The Movie.
