Diff'rent Strokes: Season 1
(1978)|
Two African-American kids (Gary Coleman and Todd Bridges) from the mean streets of Harlem move in with a well-to-do white widower (Conrad Bain) and his daughter (Dana Plato) in this classic sitcom that popularized the catchphrase "Whatchu talkin' 'bout, Willis?" Laughs abound as the youngsters adjust to their new lifestyle, but issues of race and family are also brought to the forefront with humor and poignancy.
