Ram Saran (Manoj Bajpai) leaves his village to earn a living in the big city of Mumbai. There, he meets press reporter Kaamya (Tabu) who, impressed by his honest nature, decides to write an article about him. The article inspires film director Mahesh Bhatt (played by himself) to make a movie of Ram Saran's life. But Ram Saran only cares about inspiring one thing -- Kaamya's love. This romance by Hansal Mehta features music by Vishal Bharadwaj.
