When the wealthy and powerful Thakur Ranvir Singh Choudhary (Anupem Kher) loses his beloved sister, he agrees to raise her young children. Although Choudhary was protective of his sister, he never forgave her for marrying a man of a lower caste. Soon, however, Choudhary finds himself falling in love with the nanny (Madhuri Dixit) he's hired to care for the children. And as his handsome son Vijay heads into manhood, he falls for a dancer.
