Castaways, brothers Karl and David Scott (Erik von Detten and Shiloh Strong) and father Frank (Michael Brandon), are lost on an uncharted island. And when they discover the prehistoric wonders on the isle of Dinotopia, the men soon realize they're also lost in time. In a world of talking dinosaurs and carnivorous predators, they struggle to survive and to understand this strange new land, whose undiscovered secrets may be their ticket home.
