Self-defined diva Bette Midler alternates between comedy and music in this wildly funny stage show filmed live in 1980. Along with her usual raunchy comedy and over-the-top staging, Midler belts out a variety of music, from covers of Bruce Springsteen songs to swing classics. Vocal luminaries the Harlettes join Midler onstage for some of the numbers. This is the Divine Miss M is at her trashy, flashy, heavenly best.
