Giulio (Elio Germano) is a film student sucked into a murder plot that mirrors several stories from his favorite director, Alfred Hitchcock. When a woman in the next building is murdered, Giulio suspects that her daughter has conspired with a stranger to arrange the killing, and he begins spying on the neighbors to prove his theory. Italian filmmaker Dario Argento directs this sly homage to the noted master of suspense.
