When her young son is diagnosed with leukemia, Samantha Sheppard (Kate Ashfield) must face her husband (Hugo Speer) with a startling truth before setting off to find the boy's biological father -- a sociopathic convict whose blood is the child's only hope. But it seems he recently escaped from prison, and a manhunt is on: Can Samantha outmaneuver the police and get to him before he's caught in the cops' crosshairs?
