Martin Clunes returns as Dr. Martin Ellingham, a gruff surgeon who leaves his big-city job to become town physician in a sleepy Cornish village, where his rudeness rouses distrust among the eccentric locals, including lovely schoolteacher Louisa (Caroline Catz). In Season 2 of the U.K. sitcom, Doc Martin contends with a self-proclaimed homeopathic healer and makes a crucial decision regarding the fate of another man vying for Louisa's love.
