Tony Leung portrays Doctor Mack, who practices medicine in the red light district of Hong Kong by choice. By those outside that community, Mack is seen as a free-wheeling, womanizing male, but to the homeless and fallen outcasts he is seen as a warm-hearted angel. One day, an unexpected event forces him to deal with his past and gives him the chance to regain what he's lost.
