With a suitcase full of cash in tow, fugitive Jimmy Cobb (Lee Marvin, in one of his last roles) and his girlfriend, Noémie (Tina Louise), hole up in a French farmhouse where they encounter a family with criminal inclinations all their own. As Jimmy plans his escape, he must fend off the amorous advances of the wife of the household (Miou-Miou) and her even nuttier sister-in-law (Bernadette Lafont) in this cynically satirical crime thriller.
