Tragic yet humorous, Dogstar tells the story of two young misfits who develop a special bond. Jon Jacobs plays the titular protagonist, a recluse who still lives at home and spends all day drawing pictures. When Dogstar draws the attention of the beautiful but troubled Gabrielle (J.C. Brandy), Dogstar's brother, Astro, is bitter about the fact that Gabrielle rebuked him -- and his jealousy soon poisons the lovers' affections.
