Exactly who is Gabby Whittaker (George "Gabby" Hayes), the old guy who tells Eastern magazine reporter Toni Ames (Dale Evans) he knows what happened to Wildcat Kelly, a supposedly dead, notorious outlaw from long ago? Roy (Roy Rogers) gets roped into the mystery. This John English-directed Western features Rogers performing Cole Porter's hit "Don't Fence Me In" as well as "Tumbling Tumbleweeds," "Along the Navajo Trail" and "The Last Roundup."
