Don't Fool with Love

Love is the common theme in this trio of short films based on stories by novelist Gabriel García Márquez. In The Two-Way Mirror, a bedroom mirror provides a door into another time (and another heart) for a woman about to be married; in Saturday Night Thief, a lonely married woman becomes enamored with the bandit who's broken into her home; and in Far Apart, Cuban director Tomás Gutiérrez Alea tells the tale of an elopement gone awry.
