Don't Knock the Rock

  (1956)
Looking for a breather, rocker Arnie Haines (Alan Dale) returns to his small hometown, where he finds that the uptight adults have banned rock music concerts. Enlisting the aid of deejay Alan Freed (playing himself) and the venerable Bill Haley and the Comets, Arnie sets out to bring rock 'n' roll back to the stage. This rousing follow-up to Rock Around the Clock features the legendary Little Richard singing "Tutti Frutti" and "Long Tall Sally."
