Stand-up comedian Lance Barton (Chris Rock) is used to dying onstage, but not in real life. That's what happens, though, when guardian angel Mr. Keyes (Eugene Levy) transports Barton to heaven. But there's been a huge error; Barton isn't supposed to die for another 50 years! To correct the gaffe, Keyes returns Barton to Earth -- in the body of an elderly white millionaire -- in this retelling of the 1978 Warren Beatty film Heaven Can Wait.
