Slim (William Van Nolan) and Paulie (Peter Quartaroli) are two small-time dealers poised to make their big score. But what they get is more trouble than they can handle, and their big drug deal ends in a deadly gun battle and Slim's arrest. Paulie, however, remains free and proceeds to steal Slim's longtime girlfriend, Gina, leaving Slim to face a grim future (he's addicted to heroin) behind bars alone.
